Canvas Care Guide
Your SI Art Avenue canvas print is built to last — with proper care, it will look vibrant for decades. Follow these simple tips to keep your wall art in perfect condition.
Hanging Your Canvas
- Avoid direct sunlight. While our archival inks are UV-resistant, prolonged direct sun exposure can gradually affect colors over time.
- Keep away from moisture. Avoid hanging in areas with high humidity or water splashes (directly above stoves or next to showers).
- Use the pre-installed hanger. Each canvas comes with a sawtooth hanger — simply nail a hook into the wall and hang.
- Check your wall first. Use appropriate anchors for drywall. Our largest canvases weigh under 2.5 kg, so standard picture hooks work fine.
Cleaning Your Canvas
- Dust regularly. Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a feather duster to gently remove dust.
- No water or chemicals. Never use water, cleaning sprays, or solvents on the canvas surface.
- Compressed air. For stubborn dust in textured areas, use a can of compressed air from 12" away.
Protecting Your Canvas
- Keep away from heat sources (radiators, fireplaces, vents)
- Avoid touching the printed surface with bare hands — oils can transfer
- If storing, wrap in acid-free tissue paper and store flat or upright in a dry space
Our Quality Promise
